Program Notes

We now take a change from the “Fanfare Presto” to the more controlled “Plasma Ball”. This movement is written in a tango dance form, with small interruptions in between. A “plasma ball” is a globe-like sphere, and when heat is applied to the globe, the ribbons of electricity are coasted into that direction. They each have their own physical structure and shape, but when come together, make an interesting effect. This movement, as stated before, is a tango... And should be played as such. This movement is also not as the other movements. The idea is short/staccato, and soft.
